Smart Girl Learns To Talk By Using A Custom Soundboard

A Speech-Language Pathologist, Christina Hunger has revealed that her dog, Stella now knows about 29 words and can form phrases.

Discovering that her dog can tell her things, including when she’s tired after playing, would like to take a nap, want to take a nap and would like to go to the park, Stella steps on buttons corresponding with words documented and programmed into the Catahoula/Blue Heeler Mix.

‘The way she uses the words to communicate and the words she’s combing is really similar to that of a 2-Year-Old. I think how important dogs are to their owners, so I just imagine how much deeper the bond should go.’ Hunger said.

She, however, plans to continue teaching Stella new words as well as teach other dogs how to speak as well.
