Single Mom, 33, Sat On The Floor To Breastfeed Her Toddler Amid Anxiety Attack In Target

An Australian mother has been praised online for sharing the honest truth of motherhood with photos of her breastfeeding her toddler on the ground in the middle of Target.

For Sarah Mills, 33, the feared back to school shopping wasn’t an event she anticipated for, but with her eldest kids, Monroe, 7 and Hendrix, 10, heading back to their classes, she considered it was a must done.

The blogger, from Mid North Coast, New South Wales Australia revealed she experienced anxiety for most of her life and knows for sure if an attack is on the way, she will need to take a moment to sit and breathe deeply.

During a Target trip to get school supplies, Sarah revealed she was overwhelmed after her two older children were fighting, while her youngest Morrison, 3, was being the typical three-nager’.

‘I had a really tough couple of days and I was entirely overwhelmed. The children needed school supplies and as much as I needed to just be in bed, I had no choice but to take all three out for the back to school shopping,’ Sarah explained.

She continued: ‘We have been to several shops and the children changing their mind about what they want, the quarrel and arguments were non-stop. The toddler was being a threenager and my heart suddenly started racing. I thought to myself ‘here we go’. Over time, I have learned to recognize when huge anxiety is about hit.’

I knew all three kids weren’t about to stop what they were doing, it was like mama could go ground herself. I am too deep into single parenting to care about what people will say.

‘I sat and breathe using all the techniques I have learned over time in battling anxiety.’ And with Morrison becoming all hungry, Sarah had no choice than to also breastfeed son on the floor as her daughter decided to take a photograph.
