Mom Divides Opinion After Asking If It’s Ok To Give Her Baby Daughter Pizza For Breakfast

What’s your opinion on this?

A mother got divided opinions after asking other parents if it was acceptable to feed her 22-month-old daughter Pizza for breakfast.

From Aberdeen, the mom started a debate when suggesting on a Facebook group that it was fine to feed her fussy the meal she had requested.

While other parents totally agreed with Julia Stronach’s suggestion, some appeared less keen on the idea, revealing if they give their children Pizza it wouldn’t be takeaway dishes but fresh kind.

On the Facebook group, Julia questioned: ‘Is there any particular reason why I shouldn’t give my 22-month-old pizza for breakfast if that’s what she asked for?’

‘Is there any particular reason why I shouldn’t give my 22-month-old pizza for breakfast if that’s what she asked for?’

She added: ‘I understand it’s not a conventional kind of breakfast, but if we were at a hotel buffet type breakfast and she selected some toast, grilled tomato and a slice of cheese, that would be acceptable and normal. Hence, what difference does it make in the Pizza format?’

Reacting, a lot of mothers agreed and said it was fine since breakfast is a social construct and the contents can be anything you want it to be.

A mother commented: ‘In my own opinion, there’s no issue. Give her the Pizza she asked for. It’s a society thing that suggests we must have cereal or toast for breakfast.’

‘Cold Pizza for breakfast = Winner! We had the chocolate brownies for breakfast on Saturday and it was a one-off, but that was what my toddler reached for.’ a second mother added.

While some mothers were less ken and unimpressed with the toddler’s choice

But on the other hand, some mothers were unimpressed with the toddler’s choice.

‘I think if it was my homemade pizza I wouldn’t have minded. I probably wouldn’t do takeout Pizza though.’ an unimpressed mum said.

‘I wouldn’t because it limits the options later in the day. I prefer my kids to have cereal and other things for breakfast, but totally personal choice.’ a second added.

And an individual also commented: ‘Most of the commercial pizzas are high in salts and bad fat. They aren’t always made with the best ingredients, so if it was homemade I don’t see an issue.’
