In the animal world, dogs are not concerned if their owners live on the street or in a mansion, their skin color, and even religion. Affection, unconditional love, care and being in a family are all that dogs are concerned about.

At the initial, Sasha never expected that his shelter launched in 2008 would become overcrowded

And being overcrowded, we are talking about 750 dogs and still counting

Launched in 2008, Sasaha Pesic Journey started was he returning home – the City of Serbian City of Nis after a long day. He came across four abandoned dogs along the way and was moved to the extent that he started planning to assist them despite not financially buoyant.

His small display of kindness and love has indeed transformed him into being one of the leading defenders of animals in Serbia.

Sasha never closes his door at any pup that needed his assistance

Sasha opened a shelter along with six volunteers to provide food and home for all four-legged creatures. A big thanks to the contributions he also receives from several parts of the world, Sasha vaccinates them, knows all of their names as well as giving each an identification microchip.

With other volunteers, they take care of the dogs and get them sterilized
