Texas husband and wife, with 106 and 105 age respectively has been identified by the Guinness Book of Records and named the oldest couple in the world.

Coming a month before John Henderson and Charlotte of Travis Country celebrates their 80th wedding anniversary, the couple in 1939 tied the knot during the Great Depression.

The Hendersons’ long life together as paid off. John, 106, and Charlotte, 105, are now the oldest living couple in the U.S.

While time has obviously changed a lot of things, the couple’s love has scaled through the test of time.

‘Live life in moderation and be cordial to your partner,’ John, the Texas Husband told CNN.

John and Charlotte had, however, met at the University of Texas in 1934. He was a guard for a football team while Charlotte was then taking classes to become a professional teacher.

Ten years ago, John and Charlotte moved to Longhorn Village, a senior assisted building complex associated with the University of Texas alumni group

Presently, John is dubbed as the oldest living University of Texas football player. He makes sure he attends a game every year and has maintained this tradition for about 84years.
