Shane Burcaw was born with spinal muscular atrophy, a neuromuscular disease that causes muscles to deteriorate over time. Since age two, he’s been using an electric wheelchair and could barely move his legs, arms, and hands. Burcaw met with Hannah Aylward [his now-wife] after she reached out online, and the pair have been in a relationship ever since.

One person wrote: “This couple is inspirational. Not because of Shane’s disabilities but because of the way they love, respect, and communicate with each other. I just love them!”
But then, Hannah has insisted their relationship, including their s*x life, is fulfilling for both of them.
