A dad has been dubbed a legend for his genius response to his daughter’s request of getting her some sanitary pads.

A Twitter user, Niamh shared a screenshot of the Father and Daughter conversation and currently, It has over 31,000 likes and 6,500 retweets.

The daughter, who was engaged with work and no chance of popping out before Sunday closing times texted her dad: ‘Can you get me some pads with wings before the shops close?’

Responding, her dad took a photo of both the purple and green package along with an innocent question, ‘Lime or Blackcurrant?”

Internet users loved the dad’s hilarious response while others praised him. A user commented: ‘Dads like this are the best dads.’

With a few users admitting it was strange to ask her dad to get a female product, Niamh gave them a perfect response. ‘For all the individuals getting injured about asking my own Dad for pads, 1. He only ever lived with females:  His mum, my sister, my mum, and his sister. 2. I was at work till 5, shops close at 4 on a Sunday. I don’t drive, and my mom doesn’t as well. 3. It’s not 1969, It’s 2019.’
