Woman, 31, Reveals People Mistake Her 63-Year-Old Husband For Their Baby’s Grandfather

A woman has revealed that people often question her 63-year-old husband if their baby girl is his grandchild.

Emma Thomas, 31, from California equally revealed that her husband identified as John Planas, whom she got married to in April is her ‘Human Valium’

The mother-of-two and business owner met John –a Philippines native in 2017. She had earlier experienced an abusive relationship, but John’s kind, consoling nature won her over to him.

Quite scared of what people would think or say due to their age gap, Emma revealed she felt an attraction the very moment she met with him by chance, adding that despite John giving her his number to call, she gave it a pause for a long period of time.

Nevertheless, a few months later, Emma with a friend went to buy a packet of cigarettes and stopped by at a nearby Casino. Stepping inside, Emma bumped into John and decided not to let the moment go by.

The pair started dating and fell in love with one another and one day, Emma invited John to a punk rock band concert. From that very moment, Emma and John’s relationship became serious and in November 2018, John proposed using rubber rings from a car as their engagement rings.

Both Emma and John’s families originally gave them a tough time about their relationship but now her dad is good friends with John 

On April 1, 2019, they got married and have welcomed Anneliese, their first child who is now three months old.

‘People usually ask if John’s my father and when we are with our baby daughter, they usually ask if she is his grandchild. Many at times, if he doesn’t want any complications, he will respond saying YES to avoid the discussion. I always want to explain.’ Emma said.

Emma has another son from a previous relationship

She added: ‘Love doesn’t discriminate and if you fall in love with someone, that’s the person you fall in love with. They could fat, young, old, and skinny, but you can’t just help it. Always go with your heart and not with your head.’
