She also makes easy-to-digest videos for beginners who may find most of her yoga poses hard!
Establishing a healthy lifestyle is something she also encourages her family to do.
Rose is a mom of two, both of whom are in sixth and second grade. While she maintains her own routine, she often gets her kids to join her to meditate or do simple stretching.
Rose also sounded her concerns with the sedentary lifestyle many people adopt while staying in lockdown or quarantine.
“Slouching forward over a desk, steering wheel, stove, phone, or a laptop is becoming a way of life for many of us,” she shared.
“As a result, many people are struggling with neck pain and rounded upper back and shoulders (Excessive Kyphosis).”
“This also tends to have an effect on the strength of the rest of the spine and the core leading to poor posture and pain.”
Rose often attributes her happiness to a positive mindset.
“It is often easy to get caught up in always thinking about how you can provide value and give, but it is just as important to learn how to be grateful when someone provides value to us,” shared Rose.
“The next time someone compliments you, don’t brush it off; open your heart and let them in, and let them know how much you appreciate it!”
“Generally, people like being helpful, and it also kindles a sense of purpose within them! Channel your inner goddess!”
It’s a crucial point to keep because Rose’s presence on the internet is growing.
She shares that she gets comments from all kinds of people, and they’re not always positive.
“I truly believe we all are humans, and everyone makes mistakes and has room to improve.”
She admits, “Accepting critical feedback in a positive way is still a challenge.”
As someone with over 110k followers, however, she cannot afford to focus on the negative sides of comments.
She’s learned to accept negative feedback with good intentions and let those “eliminate your adverse tendencies.”
“Don’t let difficult feedback lower your self-confidence because your self-worth isn’t related to someone else’s opinion of you.”
Rose has her thoughts when asked why she chose yoga out of them all.
“You can ground yourself by focusing on connecting your body with the earth and grounding into the earth in your yoga practice.”
“The many challenges that you face in your daily life can cause imbalances in your body, mind, and soul.”
“The beautiful thing about yoga is that it is there for you any time that you need it.”
“Yoga doesn’t require the perfect space, the perfect body, or the perfect amount of time.”
She added, “Increasing your flexibility is good for you in many ways; it helps you build a greater range of motion, less muscle tension, lower risk of injuries, and improved circulation.”
