Sports Presenter Shares The Vile DM Sent To Her About ‘Sniffing Knickers’
This isn’t the first time, but she sure can handle them.
Emma Jones presents coverage on Leeds TV and Premier Sports. She also presents the BBC Three Magazine show MOTDX, which covers football, music, and culture from the Premier League alongside former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jermaine Jenas.
Being on-air always comes with being in the public eye, and as a result, she’s open to trolls.
And of the latter, Emma has recently been sent a vile DM by a fan about sniffing knickers.
The disgusting message was a response to a selfie she posted to her Instagram story, in which the journalism graduates from Staffordshire University had rocked a grey top and blue jeans. Notably, the fan replied: “Bet your nickers sniff grate, mmm.”
The presenter has since shared a screenshot of the DM on Twitter, where she captioned it: “Hope you’re having a better Thursday than my DMs x.”
While people were in disbelief, the same way Emma was left to, most of her 287K followers have criticized the troll as one commented: “Wow. Some classy people on here.” However, the beauty regularly shares her DM horror stories with thousands of social media followers. Back in 2021, she had shared an incident at the start of the national lockdown.
Emma had at the time been sent a vile p*nis photo. As she couldn’t bear it, she took to Twitter to fume.
She had tweeted: “Managed to get three hours into lockdown before being sent an unsolicited picture of a p*nis on social media. This is going to be a long six weeks.” Her post received support, and many had insisted she identify the culprit. But Emma eventually lifted the mood by sharing a post about mental health and how to help one another.
She also had joked in January 2020 that a creepy fan’s offer of £400 to see photos of her feet would be her legacy as she shared an article about the request.
