Miss Argentina And Miss Puerto Rico Revealed They’re Married Now
The beauty pageants tied the knot on October 28th in Puerto Rico.
Miss Puerto Rico Fabiola Valentin and Miss Argentina Mariana Varela have announced they are married. The pair both competed in the 2020 Miss Grand International pageant, which was delayed to March 2021 because of the pandemic. Months after they met, Varela and Valentin posted photos on Instagram but it never indicated they were dating.
But now, the newlyweds have confirmed an affair, announcing their marriage on Instagram.
“After deciding to keep our relationship private, we opened the doors to them on a special day,” the pair captioned the post, which featured a video montage of special moments in their relationship. It also included clips of their proposals and wedding on October 28th, which appeared to take place in Puerto Rico.
In 2019, Varela competed in the 2019 Miss Universe pageant, where she wore this memorable look for the national costume contest.
For the 2020 Grand Miss International Pageant, both Varela and Valentin were in the top 10, as they shared in their Instagram bios and while they didn’t go home with trophies, it’s clear they found true love in each other. The pair also found friendship, as Varela in a birthday post for Valentin had called her “beautiful friend.”
So far, congratulations have been pouring in for the couple from their fans and fellow pageant competitors.
In the comments, the 2022 Miss Grand International Winner, Abena Akuaba, wrote: “OMG congratulations MGI brought together a beautiful union.” Another said: “Congratulations beautiful. God bless your union and long live love!!!” A third added: “Congratulations really, I didn’t think so not for anything bad but for the beautiful friendship. I hope you are happy.”
It’s not just about trophies, they indeed found love in each other!
