Kim Kardashian Hurries Back To The Hotel After Met Gala As Her Precariously Placed Pearls Were Left In Shreds
The business mogul was pictured hurrying back to her hotel after the Met Gala while wearing the Schiaparelli naked pearl dress.
The TV reality star had a startling experience at the Met Gala as she reportedly hurried back to her hotel while wearing her Schiaparelli naked pearl dress. Kim Kardashian had made a striking appearance on the red carpet but it later appeared that wearing the pearls look wasn’t the most practical choice for the evening event.
Kim, 42, specifically looked as though she had to stumble over her pearls in her high heels as she stepped out of the car.
The situation eventually turned out to be less than ideal for the TV star as photos taken revealed the pearl strands to be broken, shredded, and dangling from her dress. As a result, the fashion icon left a trail of pearls behind her on the floor, and Kim was visibly taken aback, looking down at the damage, before hurrying into the hotel.
At the event, Kim had a swell time as she and her ex-partner Pete Davidson were seen socializing.
The mom-of-four and Pete, who’s currently dating GF Chase Sui Wonders, were spotted chatting with Usher, 44, inside the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It’s no news the pair split in August 2020 after a nine-month romance, but regardless, Kim and Pete appeared to have no hard feelings toward each other, as they exchanged pleasant smiles and engaged in conversation.
Usher was pictured as he watched the friendly exchange between Kim and Pete with a happy expression on his face.
Pete made a solo appearance at the Met Gala, a year after he and his former partner Kim made headlines with their affectionate display at the same event. The comedian, while on the red carpet, exuded a cheerful demeanor as he posed for photos, dressed in a graphic print tee, purple leather pants, and a well-fitted coat. He accessorized with a black bucket hat, sunglasses, a chain, and gloves.
Pete didn’t hesitate to share a happy moment with Oscar-winner Michelle Yeoh, as captured in this photo.
Jared Leto, who disguised himself as Karl Lagerfeld’s cat Choupette in a furry full-body look, also took a photo with Kim, Kendall, and Kylie Jenner. However, the ball’s theme is Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty. The late German designer was Chanel’s long-time creative director. He died at 85 in 2019 and interestingly his beloved cat, Choupette, has even been invited to the event.
On the other hand, the decision to honor Karl had sparked controversy given the numerous offensive remarks he has made over the years, from slamming the #MeToo movement to opposing same-s*x marriage.
