Woman Who Married Herself Is Now Divorcing Herself After Finding Someone ‘Special’
Being alone is never meant to be.
In September, Cris Galera made the headlines after she got married to herself in a formal ceremony. The 33-Year-Old revealed that she had grown tired of relying on men and wasn’t disappointed to have a groom; instead, she embraced going alone.
Ninety days after model Cris Galera walked down the aisle to get married to herself, she is set to divorce.
According to Daily Star reports, ninety days later, the model has decided to divorce herself, having met someone special. From Sao Paulo in Brazil, Cris has since met someone and has even started to fall in love. “I was happy while it lasted. I started to believe in love the moment I met someone else special.” Cris revealed.
This is because she has found someone special who made her start believing in love again.
On her wedding day, she had shown off her tattoos in a stunning plunging white dress while posing outside a Catholic church in her native Brazil. Reflecting on her outfit at that time, Cris claimed she wanted to highlight her best features, including her br**sts while wearing a killer neckline.
Earlier, she had married herself after being disappointed by men several times without number.
“I was always afraid of being alone, but I realized I needed to learn to feel good about myself,” Cris had said.
Talking about marrying herself in September, Cris had explained: “I reached a point where I matured, I realized that I am a strong and determined woman. I was always afraid of being alone, but I realized I needed to learn to feel good about myself; when that happened, I decided to celebrate it.”
As much as she enjoyed the wedding day, it came with unfriendly comments from the public.
On her special day [the day she married herself], Cris felt satisfied but was left heartbroken when floods of hateful remarks and negative comments hit her posts. However, she stood in defense and insisted that people’s opinions would not change or add anything to it. She had added: “I decided that I would no longer read the hate comments.”
However, it’s fingers crossed as we await an update on Cris’ newfound love!
