Carol Vorderman Shares How She’s In Better Shape At 61, Flaunts Abs In Crop Top

During her recent fitness retreat, Carol dropped a dress size and is a fan of intermittent fasting.

Carol Vorderman has embarked on an incredible body transformation in the past months and is still ongoing. The TV host recently stayed at the exclusive Juice Master retreat in Portugal and showed the fitness progress results on her Instagram page. 

Carol stormed for a mirror selfie in a skintight outfit after dropping a dress size, thanks to the fitness retreat.

The 61-Year-Old, alongside other guests, enjoyed access to a spa, daily yoga, medication, and exercise at the retreat, including being sustained on a mixture of juices, smoothies, and warm soups. Carol detailed the visit, claiming she sustained herself on just juice for 15 of the 18 days she stayed at the retreat.

“I’ve dropped over a dress size and bursting with energy. I haven’t been into these shorts for a few years, and now they’re loose. Boommmm,” the presenter wrote. 

For one of her workout routines during the vacation, the host had left her fan’s minds blown as she opted for a nude crop top. The beauty showcased Kim Kardashian’s Shapewear SKIMS as she hit the gym, sporting a short-sleeved tight T-shirt in a tan color. The designer’s clobber was perfect as it showed Carol’s chiseled abs.

The Shapewear paired nicely with her colorful gym leggings, and Carol ensured she captured all angles. 

She wrote in the caption: “A short health/gym break in a bit of sunshine. Am getting obsessed with @skims… [email protected] This crop top for the gym is SOOOO comfy.” In 2021, Carol revealed she began intermittent fasting and regular workouts. She also relies on a personal trainer, a Welsh rugby captain who pushes her harder with weights.

Carol continually shares videos/photos documenting her workout regime at home and gym, involving exercises like press-ups, resistance band work, and hip thrusts.

“I do keep fit, I started with a new trainer, a rugby captain in Wales, and we have a good laugh. He’s pushing me harder now with weights. It’s the weight you need as you get older because I’m quite happy with my body weight. I don’t actually know what I weigh but I’m happy, I don’t need to go on a diet or anything like that,” Carol had previously told MailOnline.

She also manages her health by eating nutritious meals and incorporating intermittent fasting. 

Intermittent fasting extends the period when the body has burned through the calories ingested during your last meal and begins burning fat. Carol also detoxifies twice a year which helps reduce inflammation, purifies the blood, and boosts blood circulation and weight loss. “The detox is not about counting calories or fat units, it’s about being aware of the foods we put into our bodies. It’s about eating more, not less.”

Carol also took up yoga to help with her flexibility and stretching, as it’s good for back strength and abs. 

The TV presenter flaunted her abs earlier this month in red gym gear. She penned in the caption: “YOGA-ING! Well, I’ve never been into it BUT I do like the stretching (I also started learning how to do the splits. Following an eastern European gentleman online who says it takes 4 weeks. Well who am I to argue?).”
