Johnny Dazzles In A Clean-Shaven Face And New Braided Hairstyle At Paris Airport
He’s so much more relaxed than before.
Johnny Depp caught attention as he walked the airport in Paris with a freshly shaven face and a new braided hairstyle. The actor also dazzled in a fringed suede jacket over black jeans and dark boots. Depp tried keeping a low profile as he donned an oversized fedora and shielded his eyes behind aviator shades.
The 59-Year-Old landed at the airport after undergoing a costume fitting for the new movie, his first in two years.
The upcoming movie, directed by French filmmaker Meiwenn Le Besco will see the actor portray King Louie XV, and it will be his first since winning his recent trial against Amber Heard. As he walked to a private jet, the actor, seen with his staff and security personnel, carried a mocha briefcase with a baroque printed scarf tied loosely around the handle.
Depp had earlier been spotted exiting his hotel in the city, rocking a paint-spattered linen suit and cap.
His hair had fallen loose as he equally wore a polka dot scarf once more, shielding his eyes behind the shades. The Pirates of the Caribbean actor accessorized with silver rings and waved at a crowd of fans before marching into a chauffeured vehicle. However, Depp’s latest role comes after it was reported he is in talks to return to The Pirates of the Caribbean franchise in a ‘$300million deal.
The actor was the major lead in five Pirates movies over the past 15 years.
A source told Poptopic that the actor has been in talks with Disney, and they’re interested in patching the relationship following the trial. “They reached out to the actor prior to his defamation trial against Amber Heard and asked whether he would be interested in returning for another pirate film or two.” The source added the media house would add a sizeable donation to a charity of Depp’s choice as a gesture of goodwill.
However, the Edward Scissorhands star had told the jury during his trial he would not work with Disney again.
Depp was axed from the sixth Pirates movie. According to his legal team, the actor lost out on a $22 million payday after Heard published her Washington Post op-ed in 2018 that didn’t identify Depp but clearly branded him as a domestic abuser. During his cross-examination, Depp had also said he felt as if he was ‘guilty until proven innocent with Disney executives.
