Salma Hayek, 56, Reveals Why It’s ‘Liberating’ For Her To Post Swimwear Pics Online
“People are sick of it but I’m going to let them take a break.”
Actress Salma Hayek was among many celebrities who decided to put focus on their body recently. She’s been posting many pictures of herself in bikinis to show off her figure, but one might be wondering why the surge of those pictures.
While speaking to ET, the 56-year-old actress reveals that she feels “liberating” from these pictures.
She shared about her endeavor back in 2020, “I had to lose a lot of weight and exercise to get into the bikini towards the end of last year. I’m glad I took a lot of pictures; I have no shame about it because it was the first week of the vacation.”
She stocked up on selfies and pictures during her getaway post-dieting! That’s right, a majority of these pictures were actually taken on the same vacation!
The ‘Eternals’ hilariously added, “But after that first week and when I heard that everybody was going back into quarantine, I started eating again.”
But even so, it doesn’t mean she can’t share her vacation pictures, does it? She continued, “I saved my pictures, I’m not in the same condition today, and I’m spreading the love out like every two weeks.”
“I’m going to put up another one. I’m almost running out of them, but I don’t know if you have that feeling, like, 2021!”
She clarified, “People are sick of it, but I’m going to let them take a break. They’re going to think I’m wearing a bikini every day. No, they’re all from the same location.”
The star continues to charm her 21 million followers with her bikini shots and even kicked off the year with another in a black halter, posing against the rock with a fantastic backdrop of rock formations and clear blue water.
