Plus-Size Model Who Flaunts Her Size 22 Curves Urges Others To ‘Wear That Bikini’
“I couldn’t care less because my size is what makes me successful.”
Body positive model Danielle Gardiner wants every other woman to feel the same confidence as she does. The 33-year-old rocks her size 22 bikini and is ready to breach the summer with her curves.
The mom-of-three has heard insults and names because of her body. She remembers being called “ugly” for it.
But there’s no reason she has to stop shining and feel comfortable in her very own skin. Despite all the names, she continued to rise above all and enjoy a career in modeling in diverse and inclusive photoshoots. Danielle makes over £5,000 every month despite the negativity she sees often online.
“I get paid a fortune for being fat, and I wouldn’t be modeling or have 128,000 followers on Instagram if I was slim,” shared the woman.
“There are so many skinny models. I just wouldn’t have stood out.”
As for her rate, Danielle makes quite a big buck for every session, “I charge around £650 for a modeling shoot and usually do around two a week.”
She would often share snaps from her photoshoots and notice that especially bikini shots would get a lot of hate comments.
“When I’ve modeled a bikini and shared photos on social media, people have commented that I shouldn’t be wearing that for my size because I’m not ‘little or pretty’,” she shared her observation. I’ve been called a man and told that I’m too fat to be modeling – all sorts.”
But that doesn’t stop her from keeping on doing what she’s best at, “I couldn’t care less because my size is what makes me successful. I would never have made it as a model when I was a size 10.”
“I can’t think of any better representation of beauty than someone who is not afraid to be herself,” she had also shared before.
