Pelé Added Secret Daughter Into Will After Denying Her Existence 17 Years After She Died
She was denied her whole life.
It’s been reported that football legend Pelé has added all seven of his children, including the woman he denied his whole life to be his daughter, into his will. Pelé has split his chunks of wealth to his offsprings in his will before passing away at the age of 82 from cancer.
They included Sandra who was born in 1964, died 17 years ago without ever being admitted as his daughter.
Pelé’s will still included her name nonetheless, which means the estate that was given to her will fall into her children’s hands, who are also Pelé’s grandsons. It was also revealed that his last wish was to meet them one final time.
Octavio Felinto Neto and Gabriel Arantes do Nascimento showed up on December 28, the day before he died.
Gabriel shared, “I thank God for providing this moment, it was what my mother dreamed of most. I spoke to my aunts, and they said that our grandfather wanted to see us.”
“We were very excited, it was an opportunity we had been waiting for. Every family has fights and rows, ours is no different, but there are moments when union and love are more important than anything else. We are extremely happy.”
Sarah was the result of Pelé’s affair with his cleaner, Anisio Machado.
Despite his denial, the court had ruled that he was with proofs of DNA tests included in 1991. His net worth at the time of his death was around $100 million.
“Inspiration and love marked the journey of King Pelé,” read the post on his social media page announcing his passing. “On his journey, Edson enchanted the world with his genius in sport, stopped a war, carried out social works all over the world and spread what he most believed to be the cure for all our problems: love.”
