Kourtney Kardashian is officially engaged to her beau Travis Barker as she took the announcement on Instagram. E!News confirmed that Travis had popped the question in Rosewood Miramar hotel in Montecito, Calif on October 17. She later shared this romantic picture on the beach with her fiance.
“Forever,” Kourtney captioned her Instagram post.
Travis also reshared the post on his Instagram story, writing the same thing as her: Forever.
An insider recalled that the proposal happened as the sun began to set at around 6.30 pm. And among the eyewitnesses were her sisters, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Kris Jenner, and basketball player Tristan Thompson.
E!News recounted, “Kourtney looked very surprised to see Khloe and Tristan there. Travis escorted Kourtney down to the beach, where he had red and white florals set up in the shape of a heart. It looked very romantic.”
“I could see Kourtney smiling from ear to ear and put her hand over her mouth, looking surprised. The family cheered for them and went back into the hotel.”
Rumors of their relationship began back in December 2020, but they didn’t make it Instagram official until February 2021.
They began as close friends, and Kourtney had long brushed off Travis’ flirting. Now they’re head over heels for each other.
They’re also known as the couple who is never too shy to show off their love for each other. The PDAs might even be their trademark!
