Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Announce the Name of Their Newborn Baby Boy

He finally has a name, celebrity couple Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have named their new baby son Psalm West.

The keeping up with the Kardashian star shared the sweet news on her Instagram, alongside snaps of the adorable baby and a string of text messages from her husband Kanye.

‘Beautiful mother’s day, with the arrival of our fourth child, we are blessed beyond measure, we have everything we need,’ the message read.

The news comes a week after the couple announced the birth of their second son whom they dubbed the ‘calmest’ of all their kids.

The beauty mogul had taken to Twitter to express her happiness in an adorable post that read: ‘He’s here and he’s perfect,’

He’s also Chicago’s twin lol I’m sure he will change a lot but now looks just like her.’ Kim added.

Kim had also shared several other details about her son, including her temperament.

“We celebrated our baby boy about a week ago and now he’s here!” she wrote on her Instagram of baby shower photos.

“He’s so perfect! Here are some pics of my CBD baby shower. I was freaking out for nothing because he is the calmest and chill of all of my babies so far and everyone loves him so much.”

An insider gave a little insight on Kardashian and West’s name-picking process for the boy.

“They have had a name in mind, but wanted to meet the baby before they decided,” a source commented. “Kim and Kanye were both present for the hospital birth on Thursday. They are ecstatic. Their little boy is super cute and looks like Kim.”

Another source also revealed that the couple is very ecstatic about adding another member to their growing family.

“Kim and Kanye feel complete with the addition of their newest son,” the source said.

“Kim has always wanted a big family, and this expansion has filed her and Kanye with so much happiness. The couple is enjoying this special moment as a family and taking the time to fully embrace each new moment that comes with this new chapter.”

Meanwhile, fans who were convinced that the pair would name their son Bear was left rather disappointed.

Many purported that Kim’s decision to use the bear emoji in her baby shower tweet was a clear sign that he was to be named so. The internet was wrong this time, perhaps better luck next time.
