Dad Models His Daughter’s Crotchet Crop Tops To Promote Her Business

The family affair!

Thanks to his poses and unwavering support, Jeff Beaver has now become an online sensation! The 53-Year-Old attracted attention for proudly flaunting his midriff in colorful crop tops and shorts designed by his daughter, Emily, 28, who sells the items on her online shop, LoveBeav.

Emily started crocheting in 2015, but it wasn’t until 2021 that social media and her parents boosted her business.

She marketed her designs on Instagram and TikTok and urged her father, Jeff, to start modeling for her after she observed a video of her mother, Amy Beaver, in one of her crochet pieces did particularly well. “My dad has never been afraid to look silly, especially if he’s having fun doing it, so there was never any hesitation on his part,” Emily said.

When Jeff isn’t posing by himself, he’s joined by his daughter and wife, making business a full family affair.

In her interview with Good Morning America, Emily added: “The internet totally ate it up, and every time I included my parents, I knew that there was something special about the concept of a family wearing crochet tops together.” As a result, the designer has gone from having barely any sales to selling out her entire restock monthly.

In a video, Jeff had been seen climbing a ladder in an original LoveBeav crop top to pose pictures on the roof.

The clip had an on-screen text: “My dad doing whatever it takes to my sell my crochets tops,” and as seen, Jeff has proven to be a fan favorite, mainly because Emily now has nearly 600K followers on TikTok and over 28K followers on Instagram. “I set out with a mission to make unique crochet clothing specifically for myself and found that I very much enjoyed seeing my creations on friends and the joy they get from wearing my art,” Emily’s website says.

With being applauded comes the criticism! Another video showed the family shaking their hips to usher Confessions Part II to hit back at a troll.

The troll had told Emily she couldn’t just keep wearing crotchet in the street with her family and called it content. So far, they remain unbothered, and as per GMA, Emily expressed: “The most important thing for me and my parents is that we are spending quality time laughing and enjoying what we are doing. We could care less what other people think about how silly it might look.”

However, the online success has allowed Emily to quit her day job, and she has been able to partner with some of her favorite brands, including Michael’s Craft Store.
