Coco Austin Slams Parenting Trolls Saying ‘Everybody’s A Hypocrite’
The swimsuit model asserted she knows what’s right and wrong and is very protective of Chanel.
There was recently a controversy on Coco Austin’s parenting choices, specifically recent backlash against her putting her 6-Year-Old daughter, Chanel, in a stroller and bathing her in the kitchen sink. In response to the trolls, the 43-Year-Old asserted she knows what’s right and wrong for her child and is very protective of her.
Coco alleged she didn’t see why there was a controversy and that bathing her daughter in the sink wasn’t weird.
“I don’t think that bathing my daughter in the sink is weird. If I have a huge a** sink, why not? It’s just easier for me. And if I have to carry her everywhere and it’s just easier to bring a stroller, why not? She’s petite, she’s super small and it’s easier,” she told Page Six at Heidi Klum’s 21st Annual Halloween Party.
Coco revealed she’s very careful because people often say she does play the s*xy mom role and they’re always looking at her under a microscope.
She continued: “I just don’t understand. Why go after me over something so stupid? It’s a stroller. It’s our baby in a sink. Like, come on people, next thing you’re going to say, oh, you’re kissing her wrong, you know? Coco told the outlet she even has to monitor what her daughter posts online now that she’s old enough to do so without assistance.
She said: “I’m very, very protective of her, and going after me for these little things while there’s war? I’m like, ‘Really guys, you’re gonna go after me?’ Does that even make sense?”
Coco spoke of Chanel’s likeness for social media, stating: “It’s scary just to see she’s very innocent about the world. In my eyes, there are things that I have to crank down and be like, ‘Babe, the world won’t see it the way you see it. We see it but can’t post it.” The TV personality, however, insisted she’s not worried about what Chanel might post but what other people might think of the postings.
To the trolls, Coco said: “They’re like, on me. But the thing is, everybody’s a hypocrite I feel because they do certain weird things in their house.”
She further pointed out that Chanel enjoys emulating how other people on social media dance. Coco recalled: “There was a really s*xy dance and I was like, ‘Yo, where did that come from?’ Because that was not from me. Everyone’s going to say it’s from me, but that wasn’t from me. She watches all these TikTokers and she wants to emulate them.”
Coco is married to Ice-T. He has since defended her choices to use a stroller & bathe their daughter in the sink.
