One way to get around baggage fees!
An Airline passenger has gone to an extreme length to prevent paying for extra-baggage on a flight by wearing about 10pieces of her clothing.
Gel Rodriguez, who hails from Philipiness decided to wear 2.5 kilograms of her clothes after her carrying luggage exceeded the maximum weight of 7kilos.
Gel revealed that she informed by airline staff at the check-in counter that her box weighed 9 kilos, so she would be charged a weight fee.
‘When the airline worker at the check-in counter said ‘Only seven kilos is permitted in-hand luggage, ‘I replied: No problem.’
Refusing to pay an additional fee, Gel transformed her overweight baggage from 9 kilos to a light 6.5 kilo after wearing multiple pants, jackets, and t-shirts.

She captioned the photo: ‘From 9kg to 6.5kg baggage’, with a laughing emoji and a hashtag: #ExcessBaggageChallengeAccepted#
Her funny post, however, amassed over 33,000 likes, shared more than 20,000 times and with over 1,000 comments.
A user commented: ‘Why haven’t I thought about this, hahaha! Other users equally admitted they’ve done this previously to avoid paying baggage fees.
