Woman Texts Her Late Father’s Phone Everyday, Gets Incredible Reply

A woman, who had lost her father four years ago and has since then been texting his phone every day telling him about her life updates got an incredible response after a long time.
From Arkansas, the woman recently had a sweet shock when she got a response from a bereaved man who had equally lost his own daughter in a car crash.
Chastity Patterson, 23, sent a text message to her late father phone on Thursday, a night before the fourth anniversary of his death.
‘Hey Dad, it’s Me. Tomorrow is going to a tough one again.’ Patterson wrote, not expecting a reply.
Attached was a long post in which she mourned her late father and even mentioned her triumphs, including beating cancer and graduating from college, but Patterson received a shocking response.
‘Hi sweetheart, I am not your father, but I have been reading all your messages for the past 4 years. I look forward to your morning text messages as well as your nightly updates. I am Brad and I lost my daughter in a Car Wreck in August 2014. Your messages have inspired and kept me alive. Whenever you text me, I know it’s a message from God,’ Brad response read.
He added: ‘I am sorry you also lost someone so dear to you. I have read your messages over the years and I have watched you grow and go through more than anyone. I had plans of texting you back for years, but I didn’t want to break your heart.’
Brad also praised Chastity for her immense personal growth and called her his own angel, having lost his own daughter in a car crash.
‘You are an extraordinary woman and I wish my late daughter would have become the woman you are now. Thank you for every update, you remind me that there is a God and it wasn’t his fault that my girl is gone.’ Brad stated.
With the shocking and heart touching response, taking Chastity by surprise, Chastity shared screenshots of the texts on Facebook have garnered over 265,000 shares.
She captioned the post: ‘I text my dad everyday to let him know how my day goes for the past 4 years. Today was my sign that everything is okay and I can let him finally rest!’
